Situated in an idyllic location on the banks of the Jukskei River, near major arterial routes and places of interest, the SAB Training Institute offers a range of facilities. There are seven conference venues, two boardrooms and six breakaway venues. The conference centre has attained a four-star South African Tourism Grading Council.
There is accommodation available in chalets, set on the 11.7 hectare garden and is three-star hotel standards, with private bathrooms for course delegates. There is a dining room, games room and pub available to all residents on site, as well as indoor and outdoor sporting facilities. These include a swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, volleyball, soccer and pool tables. The site is ideally located adjacent to the Leeuwkop Golf Course.
The Training Institute also boasts a fully-operational microbrewery, which is equipped with a state-of-the-art Batch automation system. The microbrewery is used for training and new product development. The microbrewery incorporates a demo packaging line used for training engineering skills. There are five workshops used for training apprentices and artisan learners from SAB, as well as other companies.
